G3 last month announced three new grain elevators in Alberta, Canada.

The facilities in Wetaskiwin, Erskine (G3 Stettler County) and Irricana are high-efficiency. Trucks can unload grain in less than 5 minutes, and trains up to 150 cars can load in a continuous motion on a loop track in a matter of hours, G3 officials said in a press release.

The elevators ship grain to G3 Terminal Vancouver, which opened in 2020.

"These new elevators are part of the growing network of high-efficiency G3 facilities that is transforming how grain moves across Canada," said Chief Executive Officer Don Chapman.

The company now has six new elevators in Alberta. G3 Carmangay and G3 Morinville opened in 2020; G3 Vermillion is under construction and due to open this year.

In Saskatchewan, G3 Swift Current is under construction and also slated to open this year.
