Hub Group Inc.’s logistics unit is losing the Hub moniker. The company recently changed Hub Logistics’ name to Unyson Logistics to differentiate the unit’s products and services from Hub’s intermodal and highway divisions.
Unyson Logistics will remain part of the Hub Group, a non-asset-based freight transportation management company offering intermodal, truckload brokerage, logistics and distribution services. Renamed to reflect the company’s efforts to “work collaboratively or in unison with customers,” Unyson Logistics has launched a new Web site at www.unysonlogistics.com.
“The re-branding effort will give our logistics expertise a more focused presence in the marketplace,” said Hub Group President and Chief Operating Officer Mark Yeager in a prepared statement.
