Terminal operator MTC Holdings recently acquired the Puerta México Intermodal Terminal in Toluca, Mexico.
Located about 40 miles west of Mexico City, the facility offers multi-modal, on-site customs and bonded warehousing services to railroads, ocean carriers, and intermodal and logistics providers.
The terminal, which handles about 150,000 containers annually, also provides direct access to Kansas City Southern de México S.A. de C.V.’s “N” line.
