The University of Denver's Intermodal Transportation Institute (ITI) recently elected Jeffrey Heller and Frederick Hunger as board members. They will serve three-year terms.Heller is vice president of intermodal and automotive marketing for Norfolk Southern Corp. He has more than 30 years of rail industry experience and has held sales and marketing management positions in container shipping and intermodal, both in the United States and abroad.Hunger has served as chairman and chief executive officer of The World Group of Cos. since 1995. He has 25 years of intermodal experience.NS and The World Group long have been corporate supporters, and representatives from those companies have been board members for many years, ITI officials said in a press release."Fred and Jeff are long-standing and well-respected members of our industry, and ITI is honored and grateful to have their leadership, experience and insight added to the contribution of our board," said ITI Chairman Adriene Bailey, who serves as VP of strategic business development for Yusen Logistics (Americas) Inc.ITI offers an Executive Masters Program that awards a Master of Science degree in intermodal transportation management from the University of Denver.
