Pacer International tabs Munn as COO, Maillette as CIO

Today, Pacer International Inc. announced it promoted Chief Information Officer Alex Munn to the newly created position of chief operating officer. To succeed Munn, Pacer named Ron Maillette chief information officer.
Munn will be responsible for process improvements and day-to-day operations within Pacer's retail division. The segment provides third-party logistics services, including intermodal marketing (rail brokerage), truck brokerage, and trucking, warehousing and distribution, international freight forwarding, and supply-chain management services.
Munn had served as chief information officer since joining Pacer in 2002. He previously served The Coca-Cola Co. as vice president of business systems, North American division, and director of business systems, global procurement and trading.
Maillette most recently served as chief information security and compliance officer. He previously acted as an independent marketing and software consultant, and served Coca-Cola as information technology director and chief information officer, Fountain division.
