Last week, CSX Intermodal named Michael Palendat assistant vice president of trucking operations. Reporting to CSXI President James Hertwig, he will be responsible for managing door-to-door deliveries and pickups conducted by the company’s owner-operator truck fleet.
Palendat most recently served as general manager of the southern region. Since joining CSXI in 1992, he also held a stint as director of network operations.
