Rail News: Intermodal
Yesterday, Schneider National Inc. named Jack Gross and Brian Bowers to the newly created positions of vice president and general manager, international, and senior vice president of global business development, respectively. The company also named Bill Matheson VP and general manager of intermodal services to succeed Bowers.
Gross will be responsible for Schneider Logistics' business outside of North America. He most recently served as VP of business development. Prior to joining Schneider Logistics in March, he helped manage CTI Logistics' (now TNT Logistics) international operations in Europe and South America.
Bowers will be responsible for increasing sales in Europe, Asia and Mexico, and developing other international business.
Matheson most recently served as VP and GM of Schneider’s Dedicated and Specialty division. He will be responsible for managing all asset and non-asset intermodal services — one of Schneider's fastest growing business segments.
