The South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (SFRTA) last week launched a redesigned trip-planning mobile application for Tri-Rail commuter-rail riders.
The app’s functions allow riders to customize their trip plans and save multiple recurring trips made on Tri-Rail trains to revisit in the future, SFRTA officials said in a press release.
Improved real-time train information allows riders to view an arrival countdown for their upcoming trip, see what trains are arriving at other stations and receive system-wide services alerts.
Software developer Daruma Tech developed the app for Tri-Rail.
