KCS earns recognition for investor relations excellence

In late March, Kansas City Southern was named best in the transport sector at the 19th annual IR Magazine awards in New York City.

The awards honor excellence and leadership in investor relations (IR), and recognize the best individuals and companies in the IR community.

KCS scored its first win after being nominated for the third time by the magazine. The railroad also was included in IR Magazine’s Global Top 50, a ranking that's calculated by the magazine using data from surveys of analysts and investors in the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia and Brazil.

Created more than 25 years ago, IR Magazine is the only monthly global publication focusing on interactions between companies and their investors, according to KCS.
