Patriot Rail has appointed Josh Monroe regional vice president of business development-east and Shawn Mindrup, regional VP of business development-west.
Monroe garnered more than 19 years of sales and marketing experience with Kansas City Southern and Canadian Pacific Kansas City. He most recently was CPKC's director of sales-south. Monroe previously served KCS as market account development manager, assistant manager, manager of senior sales, market account executive, and director of sales and marketing.
Meanwhile, Mindrup spent over a decade at KCS and CPKC in various sales, marketing, real estate and commercial innovation roles. He most recently was CPKC’s director of real estate.
Both Mindrup and Monroe will report to Patriot Rail Chief Commercial Officer Robert Turnauckas.
“Josh and Shawn together bring extensive rail and service experience from their tenures at Kansas City Southern," Turnauckas said in a press release.
Patriot Rail owns 32 short lines operating in 23 states and provides various services, including tank-car cleaning, railroad construction, transloading, contract rail-car switching, car storage, real estate and railroad excursions.
