PATH, transit union reach tentative agreement

On Sept. 2, the Port Authority Trans-Hudson Railway (PATH) and Railway Independent Transit Union (RITU) reached a tentative agreement, according to the National Mediation Board.

Details on the pact — which covers RITU-represented general maintainers, apprentices, car inspectors and repairmen, machinists, electricians and electronic specialists — weren't released pending union ratification and PATH board approval.
