Transportation Communications Union (TCU)-represented clerks and maintenance of equipment supervisors recently ratified new contracts with MTA Metro-North Railroad by more than 90 percent margins, union officials announced late last week. The contracts call for compounded wage increases of 18.2 percent over 6.5-year terms, according to a post on TCUnion.org. The increases are fully retroactive, union officials said. The pacts have identical terms to a recent contract that unions reached with MTA Long Island Rail Road. Six other unions have signed identical agreements, TCU representatives said.
