The Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation District of Oregon (TriMet) and the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 757 have reached a tentative four-year agreement, the two organizations announced on Tuesday.State Conciliator Janet Gillman assisted in reaching the agreement, which sets the collective bargaining pact through Nov. 30, 2016. The agreement also resolves two cases pending before the State Court of Appeals, as well as two cases before the State Employment Relations Board, TriMet officials said in a press release.The agreement has yet to be ratified by TriMet's board and ATU's membership. No further details of the agreement were released. ATU Local 757 represents about 2,000 TriMet employees, or about 80 percent of the agency's workforce.
