One agreement covers 150 locomotive engineers and the other, trainmen. The proposals govern work rules, rates of pay, health and welfare issues for 75 engineers and 75 trainmen, according to a BLET press release.

Ballots and instructions for voting have been mailed to active members. Voting will conclude Oct. 25.
