BLET conducts ratification vote for CN-Wisconsin Central pact

advertisement

The Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen (BLET) has mailed ratification ballots to eligible members regarding a tentative agreement reached with CN's Wisconsin Central (WC) subsidiary.

Ballots are due by July 25. The tentative agreement governs pay rates and work rules for more than 500 members employed at the WC subsidiary.

WC operates about 2,850 miles of track and retains rights to other trackage in Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Wisconsin and Ontario, Canada. In 1997, the BLET organized the WC property, which was purchased by CN in 2001.
