According to National Mediation Board-certified results released Nov. 19, 13 NY&A workers chose IBT/BLE and four chose United Transportation Union.

The 269-mile NY&A is the sixth short line IBT/BLE has organized since August 2002, joining the Great Western Railway of Colorado, St. Lawrence & Atlantic Railway, Utah Railway, Iowa, Chicago & Eastern Railroad Corp., Indiana Southern Railroad and The Texas Mexican Railway Co.
