A majority of VAE Nortrak Cheyenne Inc.'s production and maintenance workers recently voted in favor of joining the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employes.

The union — which represents 50,000 railroad MOW workers — began an organizing campaign in December, then requested an election through the National Labor Relations Board in March.

VAE Nortrak Inc. supplies freight- and passenger-railroad track and materials.
