For the sixth-straight year, Burlington Northern Santa Fe ranks among LATINA Style magazine's top 50 U.S. companies committed to diversity.

Each year, the magazine conducts surveys, and evaluates recruitment and employment policies and procedures of more than 600 U.S. corporations to gauge their diversity efforts.

LATINA Style described BNSF's women's task force, affinity groups, benefits, flex time, scholarships, recruitment and training as being attractive to Latinas.

"Diversity is important and has an organizational impact of cultivating a climate of inclusion, where members of Team BNSF are valued and respected," said Jeanne Michalski, BNSF vice president of human resources and medical, in a prepared statement.

Other top-50 companies include American Airlines, Aetna Inc., Fannie Mae, DaimlerChrysler, Ford Motor Co., Avon Products Inc., Bank of America Corp., Colgate-Palmolive Co. and Cingular Wireless L.C.C.
