Last week, BNSF Railway Co. named Dennis Merrell assistant vice president of labor relations for maintenance and support crafts to succeed Dan Kozak, who died March 20.
Most recently general director of labor relations, Merrell has served as assistant roadmaster, manager of labor relations and assistant director of labor relations since joining BNSF in 1969 as a yard clerk.
BNSF also named Rob Karov general director of labor relations to succeed Merrell.
