Last week, Canadian National Railway Co. reached a tentative three-year agreement with the Canadian National Railways Police Association, which represents 67 CN police officers. The previous contract expired Dec. 31, 2003.
Contract details weren't disclosed pending member ratification.
CN officials continues to bargain with representatives from four other Canadian unions. To date, the Class I has renewed a contract with the Canadian Auto Workers and reached a tentative agreement with the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference/Rail Canada Traffic Controllers.
