Florida East Coast Railway L.L.C. (FECR) recently reached three- to five-year agreements with the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees Division (BMWED) of the Teamsters Rail Conference, United Transportation Union and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
The BMWED pact extends a contract until 2010 and covers 120 MOW employees at the regional, which operates a 351-mile line between Jacksonville and Miami.
“The agreements provide well-balanced wage and benefit solutions for employees,” said FECR President and Chief Operating Officer John McPherson in a prepared statement.
