Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) and Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) recently reached a tentative three-year agreement. Terms weren’t disclosed

This week, ATU plans to present the contract to members for a ratification vote. The union’s board could approve the new contract at its Aug. 19 meeting. The current contract expired July 31.

ATU represents about 2,350 GCRTA rail and bus operators, supervisors, mechanics, facilities and maintenance crews, foremen, dispatchers, schedule makers, clerks and janitors.
