Yesterday, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) representatives suspended contract negotiations with Canadian National Railway Co. officials, according to a union statement.
"There are big differences on money, benefits … [and] the discipline policy," said Kevin Kearns, IBEW senior system general chairperson.
Union negotiators plan to consult members to determine the next course of action.
