LA MTA, UTU reach tentative labor agreement

Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LA MTA) and United Transportation Union (UTU) recently reached a tentative three-year agreement.

Terms weren’t disclosed pending a UTU ratification meeting. If ratified, the authority’s board expects to consider the contract at its January board meeting.

UTU represents 5,000 LA MTA rail and bus operators.
