Pittsburgh port authority, transit police sign off on one-year contract

The Port Authority of Allegheny County and Port Authority Transit Police Association recently reached a collective bargaining agreement.
Members of the police union will receive a 3 percent wage increase. The one-year contract is retroactive to Aug. 1, 2008, and expires on July 31, 2009.
