SEPTA reaches tentative agreement with TWU, UTU

advertisement

Yesterday, the Transport Workers Union and United Transportation Union reached a tentative agreement with Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA), ending a week-long strike.

SEPTA resumed service yesterday on trolley, subway and bus routes that had been shut down since Oct. 31. Contracts for TWU Local 234 and UTU Local 1594 — which represent SEPTA subway, trolley and bus operators — expired in spring.
