MHW Group launches logistics arm, appoints Haksteen CEO of new unit

The MHW Group recently formed Cryo-Trans Logistics L.L.C. and named Herman Haksteen chief executive officer of the new company.

Haksteen most recently served as president of third-party logistics (3PL) firm MBX Logistics L.L.C. He previously served as international president of 3PL RMX Global Logistics and chief operating officer of Future Fast Freight, a temperature-controlled carrier.

Providing over-the-road transportation, Cryo-Trans Logistics will tie into supply-chain services offered by other MHW Group companies, including several refrigerated warehouses and Cryo-Trans Inc., which leases mechanically refrigerated and insulated rail cars.
