Last week, BNSF Logistics L.L.C. announced it's been rated as one of the top logistics providers in Inbound Logistics magazine's annual "Top 10 3PL Excellence Award" shipper survey.
Rankings were based on performance in more than 20 categories, including integrated logistics, process re-engineering, consulting and import, and export and customs capabilities. Nearly 3,000 shippers cast votes nominating more than 300 third-party logistics (3PL) companies worldwide. Survey participants included senior managers of logistics, transportation, supply chain and purchasing who use 3PL services.
"This award demonstrates our commitment to generate creative, valuable logistics solutions focused on the individual needs of each customer," said BNSF Logistics Vice President Eric Wolfe in a prepared statement.
A wholly owned subsidiary of Burlington Northern Santa Fe, BNSF Logistics provides supply-chain services ranging from management of single shipment transactions to daily management of distribution and sourcing networks.
