Capital Development Partners has begun the first phase of construction of Cedar Port Logistics Center, an 800,405-square-foot, dual rail service facility in Baytown, Texas, near the Port of Houston.

Phase I will be fully occupied by Plastic Express Inc., a national plastic packaging, warehousing and logistics company, and a planned occupancy anticipated by December.

The project’s first phase will offer dual rail service via the Trans-Global Solutions Inc. (TGS) short line's connections to BNSF Railway Co. and Union Pacific Railroad.

Cedar Port Logistics Center also is supported by TSG's 7,800 rail car-capacity Cedar Port yard, which provides rail-car storage and switching to both UP and BNSF.

Cedar Port Logistics Center is a located 12 miles from the Port of Houston in the Cedar Port Industrial Park.
