BNSF Railway Co. has selected TNW Corp.'s logistics location in Etter, Texas, as a "premier" transload site, TNW officials announced yesterday.
The Etter location is situated on the Texas panhandle and BNSF’s Pacific Northwest Corridor.
"Our already strong relationship with BNSF is now stronger than ever, and we anticipate further growth of our transloading and other service offerings from this recognition," said TNW CEO Paul Treangen in a press release.
BNSF's network of premier transloaders offers many services, including cross docking, storage and forward storing, load consolidation and inventory management.
TNW Logistics provides transloading, rail-car storage, warehousing, commercial development and transportation services to local, regional and global companies. The Etter location offers more than 11,000 rail-car storage spaces.
TNW's four logistics facilities throughout Texas provide nonrail served businesses the ability to control and reduce excess inventory and operating costs by combining the savings and efficiencies of rail with “just-in-time” trucking for inbound and outbound products, TNW officials said.
