• MHF Supply Chain Solutions has launched Carload Solutions, a new business unit offering door-to-door rail service. Carload Solutions will bundle rail, transloading and trucking into an integrated, single-invoice service. MHF provides transportation and logistics to shippers who need access to multi-modal transportation and packaging services.
• Cattron Group International has appointed James Kingerski executive vice president-marketing and sales. He will be responsible for North American industrial and global rail sales, and report to Cattron President and Chief Executive Officer John Paul. Kingerski has served Cattron since 2002, most recently as senior vice president-marketing and sales. He has more than 30 years' experience in the rail industry. Cattron provides remote-control products and professional services for the railroad, material handling, mining, commercial and mobile markets.
• Knichel Logistics has named David Mudd vice president of logistics. He will help manage daily operations of the company's intermodal and over-the-road divisions. Mudd has more than 15 years' experience in the logistics industry, including stints as a traffic manager and executive/owner of third-party logistics (3PL) firms. He most recently served a 3PL as VP of operations.
