AllTranstek L.L.C. recently acquired Rail Transportation Management Services (RTMS), which provides rail-car mileage credit, equalization and lease payment auditing services.
AllTranstek plans to use RTMS' proprietary mileage auditing system to provide customers higher mileage recoveries in a shorter time period.
“In light of the record-high price for new rail equipment, shippers are going to re-think their mileage credit vs. zero rate pricing strategy, which increases the need for a high-quality mileage audit,” said Patrick Kelley, AllTranstek director of data management and former RTMS partner, in a prepared statement.
A third party, non-asset-based supplier, AllTranstek offers rail operations fleet and maintenance management, maintenance facility support and technical services.
