Engineering and architectural firm Carter & Burgess Inc. recently acquired Atlanta-based transportation planning and engineering firm Day Wilburn Associates Inc. (DWA).
The acquisition will enable Carter & Burgess to increase business in the southeastern U.S., which is a “high-performing market sector with growth opportunities,” according to a prepared statement.
DWA’s clients include state departments of transportation, regional planning agencies, county and municipal governments, business development groups, private enterprises, civic organizations and public institutions.
DWA principal Rick Day will manage Carter & Burgess’ Atlanta office and principal Rod Wilburn will oversee business relations.
