Enstructure to acquire Patriot Ports

Enstructure has announced that it will acquire Patriot Port Holdings LLC.
The ports division of Patriot Rail & Ports, Patriot Ports operates six terminals in Jacksonville, Florida; Savannah, Georgia; Mobile, Alabama; and Sunny Point, North Carolina. The terminals feature 1.2 million square feet of industrial warehouse capacity, including 10.2 million cubic feet of cold storage space.
The deal is expected to close in early July. As part of the transaction, Patriot Ports subsidiaries Portus Holdings LLC and Seaonus Holdings LLC along with their holdings will be acquired by Enstructure. Following the acquisition, Enstructure will operate 12 terminals along the East Coast and inland river system.
The sale will enable the company to focus on growth in its core rail business, said Patriot Ports Chief Executive Officer John Fenton in a news release. Patriot Ports operates 13 U.S. regionals and short lines totaling more than 600 miles of track.
"We are confident that Enstructure’s best-in-class service will ensure a seamless transition for Patriot Ports' customers and employees," said Fenton.
