Graham-White obtains Amsted's air-brake division

Graham-White Manufacturing Co. recently purchased the assets and assumed operation of Brenco/QBS Airbrake Division from Amsted Industries Inc.
Graham-White will operate Brenco/QBS' air-brake reconditioning businesses in Sparks, Nev., and Salem, Va., service the divisions' customers, and honor existing supply agreements.
"[Our] experience will provide additional value and opportunities for the benefit of our mutual customers," said Graham-White President and Chief Executive Officer Jim Frantz in a prepared statement.
A rail-industry supplier for nearly 90 years, Graham-White offers locomotive products and provides remanufacturing services, including air-brake reconditioning.
