HDR acquires transportation consulting firm S.R. Beard

Yesterday, architectural and engineering firm HDR Inc. announced it acquired S.R. Beard & Associates L.L.C., a transportation consulting firm headquartered in Phoenix. Terms weren’t disclosed.
S.R. Beard now will conduct business as HDR/S.R. Beard & Associates, and help lead HDR’s transit planning and transit program management practice. S.R. Beard managing partner and principal Steve Beard will serve as national director of transit planning, and partners Marc Soronson and Mark McLaren, as vice presidents.
