Today, Harsco Corp. announced it acquired ZETA-TECH Associates Inc., which provides railway engineering services and track maintenance software in North America, Europe, Asia, South America and Australia. Terms weren’t disclosed.

ZETA-TECH, which also provides technical consulting services for track engineering, forecasting and analysis, will become part of the Harsco Track Technologies (HTT) division. HTT provides track maintenance equipment and services.

“Its high-quality technical, economic and software services to the railway industry make ZETA-TECH a prime candidate for further growth and global scalability across Harsco’s worldwide customer base and marketing channels,” said Harsco President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer Salvatore Fazzolari in a prepared statement.
