Today, Plains All American Pipeline L.P. announced subsidiary Plains LPG Services L.P. acquired a rail terminal in Claremont, N.H., from Rymes Heating Oils Inc. Terms weren't disclosed.

The above-ground, 720,000-gallon-capacity liquid propane (LPG) facility features two rail and two truck unloading stations. Canadian National Railway Co., Canadian Pacific Railway and New England Central Railroad Inc. serve the terminal.

"This asset will help support our LPG business in the northeast region of the United States and enable us to better serve our expanding customer base in the area," said Plains LPG Services President W. David Duckett in a prepared statement.

Plains All American Pipeline provides crude oil and LPG transportation and storage services in the United States and Canada.
