Miner Enterprises Inc. recently acquired YSD Industries Inc.’s plastic pellet gate product line. The YSD Double Grove plastic pellet gate has been one of the “most widely specified” brands by plastic pellet shippers, according to Miner, which produces gravity discharge gates and unloading systems.
Miner plans to add the gate to its line of heavy-duty unloading systems for discharging grain, cement, coal, ballast, ore and other commodities.
Since closing YSD’s Youngstown, Ohio, plant in December, Global Railway Industries Ltd. has sold the former subsidiary’s box-car sliding and plug door, and roof product lines to The Greenbrier Cos., and running board and platform lines to Miller Metals Service Corp.
