North American Rail Solutions acquires Tri Innovations Consulting

North American Rail Solutions (NARS) yesterday announced it acquired Tri Innovations Consulting Ltd., an engineering, procurement and construction services firm headquartered in Calgary, Alberta.

NARS provides railroad design, construction, maintenance and operating services in North America. 

Tri Innovations provides design/engineering, supply chain management, project management, construction and fabrication management, commissioning and operations support services. The company focuses on the energy, transportation, agriculture and renewable space markets, and has expertise in facilities and terminals, industrial transportation and materials handling, NARS officials said in a press release.

“The addition of Tri Innovations … positions North American Rail Solutions as one of the only major rail maintenance and construction providers in North America to offer a full suite of truly in-house services, from design-build to maintenance and operations,” said NARS CEO Thomas Lucario.
