Sharma Group acquires Talgo's car-rehab division

The Sharma Group of Investors and Spain’s Patentes Talgo S.A. recently announced the group has reacquired interests in Talgo subsidiaries Transportation & Transit Associates L.L.C. and TTA Systems L.L.C.
Talgo plans to concentrate on its core business of building high-speed passenger trains for the European and U.S. markets.
The Sharma Group expects the acquisition to increase the firm’s transit industry presence. Based in western New York, TTA rehabilitates and assembles passenger cars, and manufactures and overhauls car systems and components.
