Timken promotes Mihaila, Fracassa to SVP

The Timken Co. recently appointed J. Ted Mihaila senior vice president and controller, and Philip D. Fracassa, SVP of tax and treasury, effective Dec. 1. Both will report to Executive VP of Finance and Administration Glenn Eisenberg.

Controller for Timken’s Industrial Group since 2000, Mihaila assumed the additional role of VP-new business development earlier this year. He has held various other financial positions since joining Timken in 1975.

Fracassa has served as VP-tax since joining the company in 2005. Prior to Timken, he was senior tax counsel and director of taxes for Visteon Corp.

Timken supplies the Timken® AP™ and AP-2™ tapered roller bearings, and provides bearing reconditioning services to the rail industry. The company also offers seals, wear and backing rings, rail bearing grease and a friction management system.
