TTX appoints Pokorski VP of equipment

TTX Co. has promoted Robert Pokorski to vice president of equipment, effective May 1. He will be responsible for mechanical services, engineering and research, division shops, and facilities maintenance and operation.

A TTX employee since 1994, Pokorski most recently served as assistant vice president, mechanical services. He previously spent 12 years with A. Stucki Co., serving in various engineering, manufacturing and customer service capacities. Pokorski is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

Owned by North America’s nine largest railroads, TTX owns and operates a free-running pool of more than 200,000 intermodal, automotive and other freight cars.
