By March, Global Railway Industries Ltd. expects to relocate its corporate office from Calgary, Alberta, to Berwick, Pa., where subsidiary G&B Specialties Inc. operates a plant.

The relocation “brings us closer to our core operations located in the east, both in the USA and Canada,” said Global Railway Chief Executive Officer Terry McManaman in a prepared statement. “We will also realize cost savings by relocating closer to [our] largest subsidiary.”

Global Railway also announced it appointed Michael Feschak Jr. chief financial officer to succeed Darren Zatwarnitski, who decided not to relocate to Berwick. Most recently controller at Global Railway’s defunct subsidiary YSD Industries Inc., Feschak previously held various senior financial positions at HBD Industries, including vice president and CFO.

Through subsidiaries G&B Specialties, Rafna Industries Ltd., Bach-Simpson Corp. and Prime Railway Services, Global Railway supplies event recorder monitoring/control systems, train speedometers, track and signal components, and rail gear.
