Cattron Group International recently appointed Haroon Inam vice president of global engineering, effective Jan. 1. Currently manager of design automation for Hamilton Sundstrand, Inam will report to Cattron Group President and Chief Executive Officer John Paul.

During his more than 19-year engineering career, Inam has served as director of engineering for Honeywell Power Systems and VP of engineering for Best Power.

“His experience with sophisticated aerospace and systems design automation, in addition to his strong business sense, will enable us to maintain and enhance our corporate mission to bring world-class products to market,” said Paul in a prepared statement.

With operations in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, South Africa, Brazil and Europe, Cattron Group offers radio frequency and industrial remote-control products to the railroad, construction, shipyard, mining, aerospace, steel, military, material handling and utility vehicle industries.
