Wabtec Corp. recently named R. Mark Cox vice president of corporate development. He will be responsible for mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances.
Most recently director of business development for Eaton Corp.’s electrical group, Cox has 11 years’ experience in mergers and acquisitions. He previously served as an investment banker for UBS Warburg, Prudential and Stephens.
Wabtec supplies locomotive, freight-car and transit vehicle components; builds switchers and commuter locomotives; and provides locomotive and car aftermarket services.
