ZTR Control Systems Inc. recently appointed Dave Fisher general sales manager-North America for the company’s rail division.
He most recently held a senior business development position with PointGuard L.L.C., a joint venture between ZTR Technologies and Caterpillar Inc. Fisher previously served as vice president of marketing and sales for Springboard Wireless Networks, and led merger and acquisition, and research and development activities at CAE Railway Technologies Division. He also spent 15 years at Burlington Northern Railroad, where he held various locomotive operations, and marketing and sales positions.
ZTR provides control and monitoring systems to the global railway and power systems industries.
