AIG Equipment Finance Holdings Inc. recently named Eugene Henneberry president and chief executive officer of subsidiary AIG Rail Services Inc. He will report to William Farrell Jr., executive vice president of AIG Equipment Finance.

Henneberry previously served GE Railcar Services the past 10 years, most recently as EVP of operations and quality. Prior to GE, he spent 14 years at McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, holding various manufacturing and quality positions.

“We are pleased to have someone with Gene’s extensive background in all areas of the rail marketplace to lead our efforts as AIG looks to expand the resources it dedicates to the rail industry,” said Farrell in a prepared statement.

A rail-car lessor serving North America, AIG Rail Services also provides loans to finance railroad acquisitions and infrastructure.
