Ontario Northland recently obtained an $8.7 million contract from Montreal’s Agence métropolitaine de transport (AMT) to refurbish 24 rail cars. The contract takes effect in November.
Ontario Northland’s car remanufacturing services include complete disassembly, painting work, electrical and mechanical system upgrades, truck overhauls and interior work.
“[AMT] is a new client for our remanufacturing division and builds on the strength of our reputation for outstanding quality of work,” said Ontario Northland President and Chief Executive Officer Paul Goulet in a prepared statement.
Ontario Northland also provides freight- and passenger-rail services, as well as bus and telecommunication services.
