TTX appoints two executives, announces Pomeroy's retirement

TTX Co. recently appointed Patrick Loftus senior vice president of law and administration, and Brian Powers, VP of human resources and labor relations. The company also announced Michele Pomeroy, assistant VP of human resources and administrative service, has retired after serving TTX the past 19 years.

Loftus, who joined TTX in 1986 as general attorney, most recently was VP of law and government affairs. He will maintain those responsibilities as well as govern human resources, labor relations and certain administrative operations.

Most recently assistant VP of maintenance operations-personnel, Powers joined TTX in 1998 as personnel manager for field maintenance operations. He previously held various positions with Metra and the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad.

TTX manages a fleet of more than 200,000 freight cars for its North American railroad owners.
